We went as a group of five girls when we only had a weekend to get there from Rabat, spend one night and go back and it was so worth it! Mustapha was extremely friendly and helpful when making our reservations for our camel tour with Morocco Camel Trekking Merzouga Company over the phone and everyone from our arrival to our very departure (when they invited us for a coffee while we waited for our bus home) was extremely welcoming and friendly! The auberge "Le Petit Prince" was simple but clean and we were able to rest until it was less hot outside and it was time for our camel tour. The tour itself was our of this world! The landscape was unbelievable and the dunes while the sun was going down was a beautiful sight. We climbed dunes, did some sand surfing, ate a delicious meal they prepared and listened as they played and sang...and then my favorite part. Before going to our tent to sleep, we all laid out on a mat and gazed at the sky. I have never seen so many stars in my life! It was one of the most breath taking sights I've experienced in my life and one everyone should experience at some point.
