She has won several awards and has received international recognition for her wildlife and nature photography work. Christina hails from Victoria on Vancouver Island in British Columbia (B.C.), Canada. Christina received her photography training from the Western Academy of Photography in Victoria B.C. receiving the "Best Overall Student" award and the "Best Outdoor and Travel Photograph" award. She also has a master's degree in journalism.
